Bobby Cox Signed Arguing With Umpire 8x10 Photo w/ HOF insc (MLB Authenticated)
Braves legendary manager Bobby Cox has personally hand-signed this 'Arguing With Umpire' 8x10 Photo and inscribed it with HOF '14.
Known to be one of the most intense managers in baseball history Bobby Cox is no stranger to winning either. Beginning his managerial debut with the New York Yankees farm system in 1971 and in 1976 led the Syracuse Chiefs to the Governors' Cup title. While in the minors Cox had a highly successful six-year tenure as a minor league manager, compiling a record of 459 wins and 387 loses (.543), two league championships. Prior to the 1978 season Cox replaced Dave Bristol as the manager of the Atlanta Braves in which he would start a remarkable career as a major league baseball manager.
There is no doubt that Cox's name is ranked upon the all-time greats within Major League Baseball mangers with being named Manager of the Year four times (1985, 1991, 2004, 2005) and one of only four managers to have won the award in both the American League and National League.
